Scott Green, founder of Green AdventuresGreen Adventures was founded in 1999 by Scott Green as a summer hobby business. While teaching at Beaver Brae Secondary School, Scott used the outdoors as a classroom to educate area youth to know who they are, where they are from, how to thrive in life and better understand the outdoor environment. Seeing an opportunity to turn his passion into a full time venture, he has since grown Green Adventures Inc. into the Lake of the Woods area’s premier outdoor adventure company.

Building on his love and knowledge of the outdoors, Green has used his award-winning, nationally recognized talent to deliver amazingly fun outdoors experiences time after time.

Green Adventures offers top-of-the-line paddle board, kayak, canoe and boat equipment from the perfect downtown Kenora waterfront location on Laurenson’s Creek. Paddlecraft renters have the opportunity to venture onto the fabulous Lake of the Woods with its 105,000 kilometres of shoreline or stay in the sheltered waters of the winding Laurenson’s Creek.

If you’re considering very unique outdoor experiences and your aspirations and expectations are high, please do be in touch! We would be honoured to create something extraordinary ...just for you.

Green Adventures also offers private lake tours aboard a 24 foot Thompson Cruiser, daily shuttle service to Coney Island Beach, rock climbing expeditions, overnight camping, kids camps, week-long wilderness adventures, guided fishing trips, and more.

Green Adventures has recently added three new outdoor recreation specialists to their team. Joe Kurtz, Steve Simpson and Dave Fraser add a whole new dimension to the outdoors experience. The team’s specialties range from outdoor wilderness survival training (summer and winter), ski and snowboard instruction and programming, scuba training, paddleboard and kayak training.

Green Adventures now operates the City of Kenora’s Anicinabe Park and Campground along with Mount Evergreen Ski and Outdoor Recreation Centre. Sunset Diving, under the ownership of renown dive instructor Dave Fraser has joined forces with Green Adventures at the Laurenson’s Creek site on River Drive to further expand the outdoor recreation products and services.
