Green Adventures operates a kid’s camp at Mount Evergreen Ski Area. The following is a detailed description of the camp as well as the inclusions and costs. If you have any further questions please do not hesitated to contact us by calling 467.2889 or emailing Scott.

kids camp description:

The program will run from 8am to 5:30pm each day except for Wednesday when the kids will stay overnight at the hill.

Kids will be taught mountain bike maintenance, safety, and skills before departing on a number of trips on the trails at Mount Evergreen and surrounding area. Biking will take place on the trails used in the winter for cross country skiing.

As well as biking there will be various other organized activities such as soccer, Frisbee, capture the flag etc. At all times participants will be supervised by experience guides at a ratio of 6 -1. Guides are certified in wilderness first aid, bronze medallion in swimming as well as previous experience working with children.

On Wednesday the guides will accompany the kids on a bike trip to Garrow Beach where they will be supervised by the guides as well as a certified lifeguard for a day at the beach followed by an overnight back at the hill. Parents are free to visit.

kids camp cost:

The cost for the Green Adventures Kids Camp is $250 per child. A 50% deposit required at time of booking, remainder due two weeks prior to camp start date. Payment by cash or cheque only.

kids camp includes:

• Experienced guides
• Lunch and snacks daily
• One dinner and one breakfast on overnight
• One night accommodation at will
• Although transportation is not included, it can be arranged at an additional cost.

PLEASE NOTE: kids must provide their own bike, helmet and water bottle.
